These 12 CA Restaurants Are Among America’s Most Romantic

CALIFORNIA — With Valentine’s Day only a couple of weeks away, there’s no time to spare before making reservations at California’s most romantic restaurants.

The reservation service OpenTable on Wednesday released its 2024 iteration of the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America, an elite list developed from more than 12 million diner reviews and other metrics, the site said.

In the Golden State, restaurants that made the cut are:

• Allora – Sacramento, CA
• Bouchon – Santa Barbara – Santa Barbara, CA
• Stonehouse at San Ysidro Ranch – Santa Barbara, CA
• Orto Santa Monica – Santa Monica, CA
• 71Above – Los Angeles, CA
• Summit House – Fullerton – Fullerton, CA
• FARM – Palm Springs, CA
• Copley’s on Palm Canyon – Palm Springs, CA
• Le Vallauris – Palm Springs, CA
• Jeune et Jolie – Carlsbad, CA
• Mister A’s – San Diego, CA
• The Marine Room – San Diego, CA

The full list includes restaurants in 33 states and the District of Columbia.

One thing to keep in mind. Reservations book up quickly, with about half gone two weeks before Valentine’s Day, according to OpenTable.
