Verizon Outage Leaves Customers Without Service In CA, Across U.S.
"We're working to resolve the issue, which could take up to 12 hours," according to Verizon Support.

CALIFORNIA — Some Verizon users were without service Thursday, according to the company.
Verizon Support, the company's customer support account on X, said in response to customer complaints that it was "suffering some service problems in several places in the U.S."
In a message to a Patch editor who is also a Verizon customer, the X account said the company was working on network issues in states including California, Illinois and Wisconsin.

"We are aware of an issue impacting service for some customers, primarily in Midwestern and Western states," Verizon Senior Manager of Communications Heidi Flato said in an email to Patch. "Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and solve the issue."
Downdetector.com showed outage reports peaking around 3:30 p.m., at over 12,000, but as of around 5 p.m., nearly 6,000 outages were still being reported. By shortly before 8:30 p.m., the number of outages being reported was down to roughly 400.
