• Saving Grace Animal Sanctuary offers safe homes to neglected animals (canyonsnews.com) — An Acton-based nonprofit animal sanctuary is giving more than 30 formerly unwanted, abused, or neglected animals a permanent safe home, including a blind former police horse and a bonded pig-and-tortoise duo. Founders Erich and Kathy Lange fund much of the work themselves and invite visitors to meet the animals, gently encouraging more compassionate, often vegan, lifestyles.
