2 Medical Marijuana Dispensaries To Open In Thousand Oaks: Report

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Thousand Oaks will soon be home to the Conejo Valley's first two medical marijuana dispensaries, Leaf Dispensary and Legendary Organics, the Thousand Oaks Acorn reported.

Both dispensaries will open Friday after years of work obtaining the proper permitting, finding real estate, complying with safety measures and facing certain fearful attitudes, the Acorn reported.

Leaf Dispensary will open at 3321 Grande Vista Drive and Legendary Organics will open at 1339 Lawrence Drive. The two dispensaries will host soft openings Friday with grand openings in the works.

Both dispensaries hope to eventually transition to adult recreational use, which is currently banned by the city.
