Singer D4vd ‘Likely’ To Be Indicted For Murder Of Girl Found In Trunk: Report
D4vd's involvement in the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez is under investigation by a grand jury, according to a report.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A grand jury is reviewing evidence and will consider whether to indict the singer D4vd for the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, the 15-year-old girl who was found dead in his car's trunk earlier this year, TMZ reported Monday.
A grand jury has recently been hearing from witnesses in the case and is set to vote on whether to indict D4vd — whose real name is David Anthony Burke — on charges related to her death, TMZ reported.
Citing multiple unnamed sources, TMZ reported that authorities, including Los Angeles County prosector Beth Silverman, believe D4vd was involved in Celeste's death and have presented evidence in an effort to support that claim. As a result, the publication reported Burke will "likely" be indicted.

Celeste, then 13, was reported by her family as a runaway from her Lake Elsinore home in April 2024. In October, days after her 15th birthday, she was found dead inside a Tesla owned by Burke in a tow yard in Hollywood, according to police.
The Los Angeles Police Department last month said it was investigating a trip Burke took to Santa Barbara County in the spring. TMZ previously reported that he traveled to a remote part of the county in the spring to dismember Celeste's body with at least one other person.

"We have evidence that D4vd travelled to the Santa Barbara area sometime during the Spring of 2025," the LAPD announced. "The reason for that trip is still under investigation, and we've drawn no conclusions at this point about the relevance of the trip to this case."
