'80s Tribute Band To Kick Off Free Concert Series In Agoura Hills

Catch the sounds of Journey, The Beach Boys and 80s throwbacks at Chumash Park this summer.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Kick back to the sounds of the 80s, Journey and Bon Jovi with Agoura Hills' summer concert series at Chumash Park and Agoura High School.

On June 19, Agoura Hills residents will gather at Chumash Park, located at 5550 Medea Valley Drive, with blankets and picnic baskets for the first of four bands to play throughout the summer.

Community-members on June 19 will flash back to the 80s with The Spazmatics, the first band to take the stage at 6 p.m.

On July 10, Hollywood U2 will play U2 favorites followed by a laser show at the park.

On July 24, The Conejo Valley Community Concert and Jazz Bands will take the stage at Agoura High School Performing Arts Education Centers, located at 28545 W. Driver Ave. The concert will include special guests, according to the city of Agoura Hills.

Journey cover band DSB will take the stage on Aug. 7, and Bon Jovi tribute band Wanted will close out the concert series on Aug. 21.

Each of the concerts will start at 6 p.m. The concerts are free but attendees are asked to donate $2.
