Rams Star's Brother Arrested For Joyride In Lakers Player's BMW: Sheriff
The brother of Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua was one of two men arrested in the incident.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — The brother of Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua was one of two men arrested over the weekend on suspicion of taking a Lakers player's car without his consent, according to reports.
Deputies were flagged down on the 8400 block of Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, where a man reported his BMW had been stolen and he was able to track it to that location, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told media outlets in a statement.
The car's owner was identified by TMZ as Los Angeles Lakers forward Adou Thiero.

The suspects had valeted the car at the One Hotel on Sunset Boulevard and entered the hotel. Deputies identified the suspects by reviewing security footage and found them soon after, NBC Los Angeles reported.
Samson Nacua, 27, and Trey Rose, 27, were arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, a violation of California Vehicle Code. The charge, which is a violation of California Vehicle Code, does not require a suspect to have "intent to steal the vehicle."

It's commonly referred to as "joyriding." Prosecutors can seek either a felony or misdemeanor charge and it is considered a less serious offense than grand theft auto, KSL Sports reported.
The Sheriff's Department said Nacua is suspected of taking the vehicle from what is described only a "the Wilshire location," while Rose was driving the BMW when the pair arrived at the hotel.
Like his brother Puka Nacua, Samson Nacua is a wide receiver: The 27-year-old plays for the United Football League's Michigan Panthers after unsuccessfully trying to break into the NFL.
