Blood Shortage: Where To Give Blood In Agoura Hills
Agoura Hills residents can donate blood on Wednesday amid a national blood shortage.
AGOURA HILLS, CA — Agoura Hills residents can give blood on Wednesday at a community blood drive hosted by the University of California, Los Angeles's Blood & Platelet Center.
Appointments will be available from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Chabad of Conejo Agoura, located at 30345 Canwood Street. Make an appointment to give blood on UCLA Health's donor website.
The American Red Cross, which supplies about 40 percent of blood in the U.S., is experiencing its worst blood shortage in more than a decade, the organization said in a news release. The Red Cross has seen a 10 percent decline in blood donations since March 2020, according to its website.

- Woodland Hills Blood Donation Center, 6338 Variel Avenue, Saturday-Wednesday, varying times
- Westfield Topanga, 21710 Vanowen Street, Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Thousand Oaks Inn, 75 West Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Monday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
