Car Enthusiasts Spread Some Holiday Cheer

Members of two Southern California Car Clubs gather at an Agoura home to donate toys to kids in need.

Members from the Dodge Challenger Car Club of Southern California and Lost Cruizer'zz Car Club gathered at the Agoura Hills home of Casey Abrams, 8, on Saturday morning to drop off toys that will go to the Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA. The project was the brain-child of young Abrams, who suffers from a chronic illness and periodically has to be treated .

According to mom Rachel, Casey knows what it's like to be in the hospital on Christmas. "He decided that he wanted to raise toys for the kids for the holidays," she said. "He knows how awesome it is to have new toys passed out. He's a pretty cool kid."

Casey's dad was able to make a contact at the car clubs through his work, and they agreed to participate.
