Collision Causes Traffic In Agoura Hills

A traffic collision in Agoura Hills knocked down two poles and caused major traffic Tuesday morning.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Authorities responded to a traffic collision between two cars at Kanan Road and Troutdale Drive Tuesday morning.

The collision occurred just before 9 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol. Both directions on Kanan Road were closed just after 9 a.m. with no time estimate on when they would reopen.

The collision brought down two Southern California Edison poles. A Southern California Edison technician was on their way to the scene as of 9:30 a.m., according to CHP. SCE reported an outage affecting nearly 60 residents just after 9 a.m. and expected power to be restored by 2:30 p.m.
