Feedback Sought for U.S. 101/Palo Comado Canyon Road Interchange Project
The proposed project would widen Palo Comado Canyon Road from two to four lanes between Driver Avenue and Chesebro Road.
An initial study and environmental assessment of the proposed U.S. 101/Palo Comado Canyon Road Interchange Project, along U.S. Highway 101 is now available for public review and comment.
The proposed project would widen Palo Comado Canyon Road from two to four lanes between Driver Avenue and Chesebro Road and include a dedicated left-hand turn lane, for a total of five striped lanes.
The City of Agoura Hills and the state's Department of Transportation prepared a proposed mitigative negative declaration/environmental assessment of the project that was released in January.

According to the report, the "project would not significantly impact any sensitive plant or animal species, other wildlife, riparian habitat, wetlands, or agricultural land."
A Public Hearing will be held to discuss the project on February 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the Agoura Hills City Hall, 30001 Ladyface Court. Staff will be available to discuss the project and to answer any questions about the proposed work.
