Green Fair Introduces Innovative Ideas
Agoura's first Sustainable Living and Environmental Fair, organized by the Los Angeles County Public Library on Saturday, brought out green-minded folks from all over the region.
Green-minded organizations from all over the area converged at the and gave residents innovative and interesting ideas on sustainable living.
Organized by the Los Angeles County Public Library, the City's first Sustainable Living and Environmental Fair offered information about solar energy, water conservation, organic growing, vegan cooking and even beekeeping. The fair represented a unique public-private partnership, bringing government and businesses together to provide the best information for consumers, according organizer Matthew Rose from the LA County Public Library
During the event, Sen. Fran Pavley, known for her green legislation, said a few words and offered her ten green tips to the community.
