With Labs & Buddies Rescue, a no-kill organization, is hosting a dog adoption event. This month's adoption features two lab-mix litters of puppies between four and five months old, as well as Princess Diana, a pure bred black lab between two ans three years old. The event runs from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Artist and naturalist Laura Cunningham presents a lecture and launches her art exhibit, "A State of Change, Forgotten Landscapes of California" at the National Park Service Visitor Center (401 W Hillcrest Dr, Thousand Oaks) at 2 p.m.

4.  Agoura High School ComedySportz Game

Doors open at 5:45 p.m., and the games begin at 6 p.m. in the G Building. This game only, there's a chance to win 4 free tickets to the premiere of Dr. Suess' The Lorax! 5. Lisa Loeb at the Canyon Club

The Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, storyteller, actress and reality star brings her unique abilities to the stage at 8:45 p.m. Tickets are $20.
