Last Day For Transfer Applications At Agoura Hills Schools

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Tuesday is the last day for Agoura Hills students to apply for certain transfer applications with the Las Virgenes Unified School District.

The deadline applies to three different types of permit application: incoming transfer students, outgoing transfer students and students switching schools within the district.

Within the district, "School of Choice Permits" allow existing LVUSD students to switch to different schools within the district, excluding Buttercup Preschool in Agoura Hills.

Interdistrict permits for both incoming and outgoing students will also close Tuesday. Incoming permits allow for students to enter LVUSD schools from a different district, and outgoing permits allow students living within the district's limits to leave LVUSD schools.

Decisions will be given by March 15. Incoming transfer students will need to also get a release from their current school districts upon approval. To learn more about each of these permits and submit an application, visit the LVUSD website. Email permitinfo@lvusd.org with questions.
