Math Teacher Amongst Winners in High School Dance Competition

Mathematics teacher Thomas Beaton and two students win the 2012 Agoura High School's 'Dancing With the Stars' competition.

Two students and a math teacher took top honors in the Dance Team's 2012 'Dancing with the Stars' competition Friday night. 

Teacher Thomas Beaton, along with students Becky Hartt and Talia Saraf, won the mirror ball trophy for their original choreographed performance, which included a sassy hip-hop number.

Water polo players Adam Abdulhamid and Chase Cockerill took second place for their "Platinum" performance with students Emily Fine and Gabi Rudin.

This year's judges were senior Quinn Miller and teachers Cathy Prater and Joelle Lilavois.
