Matzah in our Midst
A group of about a dozen Shluchim and Anash from the Conejo Valley organized a Mitzvah Tank in time for Passover.

A group from the Conejo Valley Jewish community drove a Mitzvah Tank into the Vons parking lot this week in honor of Yud Aleph Nissan (Rebbe’s birthday), according to a report in CrownHeights.info. The tank travelled to every shopping center in the region, as well as throughout the streets of Agoura Hills and Oak Park, said the story.
“I would like to thank Rabbi Leibel Kahanov and Mr. Yisroel Weiss who arranged and organized the Mivtozim initiative in honor of the Rebbe’s birthday” Chabad of the Conejo's Rabbi Moshe Bryski told the site. “It was especially gratifying to see dozens of Yeshiva Bochurim, all who have been raised in the Conejo Valley, manning Mivtozim booths at every market in the area”.
According to the report, In addition to distributing 110 pounds of Matzah and dozens of Neshek kits, the Mitzvah Tank brought awareness and pride to the many hundreds that saw it at the markets and on the streets.
“This is just the beginning of the Mitzvah Tank campaign for the Conejo Valley” Rabbi Kahanov told the site. “With the growth of our Anash community and the dozens of Yeshiva Bochurim that call the Conejo Valley their home, this will become a regular fixture for our community.”
