Pick up fresh produce for all your recipes. The Agoura Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5835 Kanan Rd.

3. Nordic Spring Picnic

Head over to Vasa Park, 2854 Triunfo Cyn., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for food, entertainment and family activities. There will be a rock wall, 274 ft. waterslide, paddle boats, zip line and log rolling contests. Parking is $5 per car. For more information, click here.

4. Pitch In, Help Out for Big Sunday

Everyone can lend a hand by helping sort food and clothing donations at our own regional Big Sunday hub site (31051 Agoura Rd, Westlake Village) starting at 10 a.m. Spend an hour or more-bring the whole family. For more info go to BigSunday.org.

5. Jewish Genealogical Society Meeting

The subject of the meeting, being held at 1:30 p.m., is 'Visiting Your Ancestral Shtetl/Kahila/Towns.' The Jewish Genealogical Society of the Conejo Valley and Ventura County (2420 E Hillcrest Dr, Thousand Oaks) is dedicated to sharing genealogical information, techniques and research tools with anyone interested in Jewish genealogy and family history.
