Oct. 29: A Ladyface Halloween; Boo at the Zoo

2. Ladyface Halloween Party

There will be two bands, costume prizes, ghoulishly good food and drink. The party is being held from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m and tickets are $25 per person; advance purchase only. Call 818-477-4566.

3. Jonny Lang at the Canyon Club

In his more than 10 years on the road, the guitarist has toured with The Rolling Stones, Buddy Guy, Aerosmith, BB King, Blues Traveler, Jeff Beck and Sting. The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $48.50.

4. Halloween Spooktacular at the Commons

There will be lots of fun treats and activities for the kids, including trick-or-treating and a costume contest. The event is being held from 2-6 p.m. at the Courtyard at The Commons (23631-23703 Calabasas Rd, Calabasas).

5. Boo at the Zoo

Head to America's Teaching Zoo (7075 Campus Rd, Moorpark) for Halloween fun! Activities include trick-or-treating with the animals, encounters with creepy crawlers, a costume parade, face painting, games and more. The fun begins at 11 a.m. and tickets are $4-$5.
