Oct. 30: Halloween Festivals; The Lt. Dan Band

Bring the family for a fun day of games, activities, rides, music, food and a Haunted House to help raise money for Sumac Elementary School's Music, Art, P.E. and Library programs. There'll be lots of great games (including a Putting Green, Pumpkin Bowling, Cake Walk and Win-A-Fish) and activities (like Face Painting, Photo Booth and Pumpkin Painting) and tons of great prizes. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is $20.

3. Yerba Buena Elementary Halloween Carnival

Take the family to enjoy game booths, face painting, a crazy hair booth, dunk tank and a spooky haunted house! There will also be a pumpkin carving contest, bake sale, cotton candy and more. The carnival runs from 12-4 p.m.

4. Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band Tribute Concert at the Canyon Club

Take in this special performance by actor/performer Gary Sinise & The Lieutenant Dan Band that benefits wounded American soldiers and their families. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. and tickets run from $50-$100.

5. Little Pumpkin Costume Challenge

Don't forget to enter your child in Patch's Halloween costume challenge for a chance to win a trip to New York and meet Heidi Klum. .
