AGOURA HILLS, CA — After nearly seven months of renovations, Sumac Park fully reopened Thursday with a swanky new bathroom.

The renovations, which started on Aug. 30, gave the park's bathrooms a facelift. The work at Sumac Park was part of the city's Park Restroom Renovation Project, which will hit all six parks in Agoura Hills to revitalize their bathrooms while maintaining their existing vibe, according to the city's website.

The new park bathroom is bright and has a water station on the outside. The first mayor of Agoura Hills, Fran Pavley, came out to see the unveiling of the new and improved Sumac Park, along with Mayor Deborah Klein Lopez's family, according to Lopez.
