The Cat in the Hat Tells Tales at the Library

The wise-cracking feline with the red and white top hat told stories, danced and sang songs as part of Dr. Seuss' 108th birthday celebration at the library on Saturday.

The children giggled as the Cat in the Hat, aka performer Nicole Tibbetts, slinked her way through the audience purring, stretching and meowing as she made her way to the staging area at the Agoura Hills Library.

The large crowd sat knee-to-knee as Tibbets read from some famous Dr. Seuss tales as well as engaged the audience in lots of dancing and singing.

Afterward, everyone was treated to, what else, green eggs and ham.
