Video Game Company Cuts 30 Employees Due to Poor Sales
THQ, the Agoura Hills-based video game company, is laying off 30 employees due to the poor performance of the HD uDraw Tablet, according to industrygamers.com

Agoura-based announced Friday that it had cut 30 members from its Play THQ development team after the poor sales of the PlayStation 3 and 360 versions of the uDraw Tablet, according to a report from the web site industrygamers.com.
Martin Good, the business unit leader, will also be leaving "to pursue other opportunities," said the report.
According to the report, “Due to weaker than expected sales of the uDraw Game Tablet, we are taking a difficult but important step to reduce the number of employees that supported this brand ... This action will allow us to reduce costs, increase efficiency and increase the focus of our organization,” the publisher told Game Informer in a statement.
