Willow Elementary Celebrates 100 Days of Learning

The school marked 100 days of school with stories, races and a donation to the needy.

Elementary schools citywide celebrated the 100th day of school for the  on Thursday

kindergarten and first grade classes partook in a variety of learning activities from relay races to counting games to commemorate the occasion.

"In first grade, we're rotating classes class and hosting different stations," said teacher Gretchen Granda. "Our class is doing sports activities by ten."

In addition to the day's festivities, each child was asked to bring in cans of food to donate to Manna, the Conejo Valley Food Bank, with a goal of reaching 100 cans per class.
