3-Alarm Fire In Oakland, Near Webster Street Bridge
The blaze destroyed one home and spread to a second just east of Interstate Highway 880.
OAKLAND, CA — A three alarm fire claimed one Oakland home and damaged a second at 6th Avenue and East 8th Street, according to the Oakland Fire Department. The fire was declared under control at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The first home, that was fully involved in flames, is covered with graffiti.
"The building where the fire originated is a multi-unit apartment building and the exposure building which suffered significant damage is a single family home," the fire department reported on Twitter.

There have been no reports of injuries.
The number of people displaced by the fire is still being determined.
