Child Molested At Crown Beach, Suspect Arrested

He has been charged with multiple felonies by the District Attorney's Office.

ALAMEDA, CA — A minor child was sexually molested at Crown Beach on Aug. 13, according to the East Bay Regional Park District Police Department. The suspect has been arrested by police and charged with multiple felonies by the Alameda County District Attorney's Office.

The suspect's name is not immediately available. The victim's name will not be released to protect his identity.

According to the PD, the Investigations Unit sprang into action when a minor "reported that he had sexual relations with an adult male at Crown Beach."

Although the victim did not know the identity of the suspect, police identified, located and arrested the suspect just 51 hours after the investigations unit got involved.

The suspect was booked at Santa Rita Jail and subsequently charged by the DA.
