More Than 80-Percent Of Alameda Vaccinated

Please be mindful and take steps to lower your risk:
- Get vaccinated and boosted, if eligible
- Stay home if you are sick or test positive
- Stay home if you are unvaccinated and exposed
- Get tested if you are symptomatic or exposed
- Wear a mask indoors and wash your hands frequently
- Avoid crowded and poorly ventilated indoor settings and avoid large gatherings
- If gathering or traveling, get tested before and after, and again 3-5 days later
In Alameda, 81.7% of the total population is vaccinated and 49.1% have received booster shots. Everyone 5 years and older is eligible for a vaccine and everyone 16 years and older is eligible for their booster six months after their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or two months after their Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
