Webster Tube (State Route 61) Overnight Closures For Maintenance Work January 11-14, 2022

ALAMEDA COUNTY — Caltrans has scheduled full overnight closures of the State Route 61 Webster Tube January 11-14, 2022. The closures are overnight only. The tube will be open in the daytime. The Webster and Posey tubes connect the cities of Alameda and Oakland.

  • From 10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11 until 5 a.m. the following morning
  • From 10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12 until 5 a.m. the following morning
  • From 10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 until 5 a.m. the following morning

    • The tube will be open in the daytime. All closures are nighttime only. The purpose of the closures is to accommodate maintenance work. Work will be postponed if it rains.
