Interactive Meeting With Alameda's Police Chief
The police department will hold two community Zoom meetings. The first is Thursday — have your questions ready.

ALAMEDA, CA — What is the Alameda Police Department doing right? Do you appreciate efforts to crack down on organized retail crime?
What else deserves their focus?
Alameda Police Chief Nishant Joshi, who has led the department for three years, is holding two interactive meetings with the community to hear your input.

The first meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, and the second next week, on July 16.
"This is your opportunity to share your thoughts, connect with neighbors, and get to know your police chief," the department said in an invitation to the community.
