ALAMEDA, CA — Landsea Homes plans to build 182 townhomes in two different Alameda neighborhoods, its first developments on the island. Sales are expected to begin this summer, with 15 percent of the townhomes to be sold as part of Alameda County’s affordable housing program.

The homebuilder, Landsea Homes Corporation, officially broke ground last week with City officials in attendance.

“This is a city with rich maritime history, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the renovation and redevelopment of this exciting waterfront district,” said Josh Santos, Landsea Homes. “We’re even more thrilled to bring our sustainable, high quality and High Performance Homes to this part of the Bay Area.”
