Meet Alameda's Police Chief Tuesday

ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda Police Chief Nishant Joshi, who has led the department for three years, will hold the second of two interactive meetings with the community to hear your input.

Tuesday's meeting will be held from noon to 1 p.m.

What is the Alameda Police Department doing right? Do you appreciate efforts to crack down on organized retail crime?

What else deserves their focus?

"This is your opportunity to share your thoughts, connect with neighbors, and get to know your police chief," the department said in an invitation to the community.

The event will be held via Zoom.
