Alameda County's New DA To Be Chosen

How to contact Albany's Supervisor by 11 a.m. Tuesday to let him know whether you want a progressive DA, or one who is tough on crime.

ALBANY, CA — Alameda County's progressive district attorney, Pamela Price, was overwhelmingly recalled by voters in the November election.

It now falls to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to appoint her replacement.

Board President Nate Miley announced on Friday that the board will "address the appointment process for a new District Attorney" at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Albany residents have until then to make their preferences known about whether they want a DA who is tough on crime, or one who will continue the progressive policies advocated by Price.
