Calaveras Reservoir Glows Beneath Backlit Clouds: Photo
The reservoir is known for its large mouth bass and rainbow trout.

FREMONT, CA — Hiding in nearby hills, Calaveras Reservoir may be seen from Calaveras Road or looking down from Mission Peak. Cindy snapped this photo back in 2019, the year the new dam was completed. The dam was replaced to withstand a strong earthquake on the Calaveras Fault.
The reservoir is known for its large mouth bass and rainbow trout.
