• Lawrence lab worker arrested for child pornography possession (nbcbayarea.com) — An 86-year-old Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory researcher was arrested after investigators traced a large child pornography case back to his Albany home, where a CHP raid began the investigation in 2024. Authorities say he admitted downloading illegal material for decades on both home and work computers, and prosecutors have now filed charges after finding hundreds of thousands of images.
