Grab a Book, Make History
Come to the Aliso Viejo library Oct. 6 to help break the world record for the most children reading the same story at the same time.

Join the city and the Aliso Viejo Library to participate in a nation-wide attempt to break the world record for the most children reading the same story on the same day on Oct. 6.
Enjoy afternoon snacks, crafts and reading at the library at 3:30 p.m. and continue the fun at the Iglesia Park Community Center, located at 24671 Via Iglesia, at 7 p.m.
Jumpstart's Read for the Record, in partnership with the Pearson Foundation, works to ensure that all children receive quality education. The group hopes to set a new record of more than 2 million children reading "Llama Llama Red Pajama" by Anna Dewdney.
