Our purpose is to serve our members by providing savings, loans and other services in a convenient, equitable and competitive manner. Our members are the bedrock of our credit union. The financial strength of the credit union is maintained through annual board elections, periodic focus groups, committee involvement and diversity programs. We also provide financial and in-kind resources to others within the credit union community, and participate in cooperative activities from a local to a national level when appropriate. Capstone FCU also supports other public service activities ranging from the Alzheimer’s Association to the United Way.

City Manager Mark Pulone will soon announce he is leaving Aliso Viejo for another Orange County city, a city official said Friday. Pulone declined to comment about a possible new job in Yorba Linda, but said he may discuss the matter next week. Pulone was hired to lead the city's relatively small staff in Nov. 2005. Prior to that, he worked as the assistant city manager of Lake Forest. He was hired at age 39, making him one of the youngest city managers in the area. During his tenure, Pulone led city staff as city leaders fought the United States Post Office over a major mail processing facility. The two-year standoff ended in 2009 when the recession shrunk the country's overall volume of mail.
