Making Science Fun for the Whole Family

Students and parents participate in hands-on science experiments during St. Mary's & All Angels School Family Science Night.

More than 500 people attended the Family Science Night at Tuesday night.

Families participated in a presentation from the Discovery Science Center on Newton's Three Laws of Motion and hands-on science activities for the students.

"My three daughters wouldn't stop asking me about going to the Discovery Science Center last night," said Kay Fernandez director of marketing communications for St. Mary's. "It accomplished our goal of the night, which was to make science fun and interesting. We need future scientists for America to compete in the world economy."
