Stylists Needed for Village of Hope Hair Salon

Tribeca Salon of Aliso Viejo has six stylists volunteering at the homeless shelter in Tustin. More are needed for the shelter salon to operate three days a week.

Aliso Viejo's Tribeca Salon is looking for hairstylists to volunteer at the Village of Hope homeless shelter in Tustin.

According to owner and stylist Tim Telles, this will be the third year Tribeca has volunteered at the shelter's hair salon. Telles hopes that having more volunteers will allow the salon to stay open additional days.

"We are looking to have 15 hairstylists to volunteer one day a month," Telles said. "That way the salon can be open three days a week. Now it is open about five days a month."

"This is my favorite charity," Telles said. "These could be your neighbors, with the economy as bad as it is. Most of the women at the shelter have not had their hair professionally cut and colored for a long time. They are very grateful."

If you are a hairstylist and available to volunteer one day a month at the Village of Hope salon, contact Tim Telles at 949-916-2400.
