Active Shooter Drill to be Held at Eliot Middle School on Wednesday

The Altadena Sheriff's Station and other agencies will be simulating an emergency response to a shooting as training for a real event.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and other agencies will be training at the Eliot Middle School on Wednesday to simulate a response to a school shooting.

There will be a significant police presence at the school on that day, according to a flyer sent to local residents (the flyer is attached to this article).

The drill will include some screaming and shooting of blanks, but no live gun fire.  There will also be volunteers pretending to be injured.
