Altadena Library District Hosting Bookmobile Pop-Up Event

ALTADENA, CA — The Altadena Library District will hold a pop-up event Thursday that will give community members a chance to check out its new bookmobile.

Known as the “Curiosity Connection,” the vehicle will be parked at Lower Loma Alta Park from 3 to 5 p.m., the library district said in a statement. The event is free and open to all ages.

The pop-up will feature lawn games, a dance party and books available to checkout straight from the bookmobile.

The bookmobile was funded in part by $250,000 the library district received in June.
