I came across a small dog on the Henninger Flats fire road above Altadena early Tuesday evening. I tried to get him to come with me but he ran off into a steep, inaccesible area. I could not get a photo as he hid out in a bush (and it was dark!), but the photo attached here looks something like him. He did not have a collar, fur was a bit matted, seemed as if he had been away from a home for a while. Please email the editor (dan.abendschein@patch.com) if he might be yours!
