Biannual Art on Palm Festival to be Held Today
The arts and crafts show that takes place at a scenic wooded end of Palm Avenue has been scheduled for April 28.
Twice a year, art, crafts and more go for sale at a charity art event at the far end of E. Palm Street. Art on Palm returns to Altadena on Saturday April 28 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to event organizers, items for sale will include: paintings, ceramics, handmade glassware, fabrics, collage, woodwork, metalwork, photography, handmade jewelry, body care products, and more.
This Spring, the event will add a new component: free tours of a historical craftsman bungalow called the Valentine House. The bungalow is built at the base of an oak tree estimated to be 650 years old, according to the event's organizers, who describe the home as having "exceptional stone work."
