We took a vote on the site for the cutest puppy last week, in honor of National Puppy Day, and the winner was Jackson, the boxer-bulldog mix pictured on the right. Jorge Roa, whose family owns the dog, describes him as "the best companion" and says he is great with their kids. Jackson is three-years-old and the family has had him since he was three months old.  The pictures at right show him during his puppy months. Jackson barely edged out his top competitor, a handsome St. Bernard named Gertie, by three votes.  He wins a $25 gift card from either Pet Smart or PetCo. To see all the puppy contestants, .
