Democratic Party Endorses Chris Holden in Assembly Race
Holden, a Pasadena councilman, is running in the 41st State Assembly District, which includes Altadena.

The California Democratic Party has endorsed Pasadena Councilman Chris Holden in his run for State Assembly in the 41st district, which includes Altadena.
Also running as Democrats are Michael Cacciotti, the mayor of South Pasadena, and Victoria Rusnak, the president of the Rusnak Auto Group, a Southern California luxury car dealer.
Donna Lowe, a member of the Claremont branch of the Tea Party is running as a Republican.

Holden is the son of former Los Angeles City Councilman Nate Holden and has been in the Pasadena City Council for 21 years.

He has received endorsements from council members in Monrovia, Claremont and Pasadena, and also has picked up the endorsement of the Armenian Community Coalition.
The 41st District runs far east on the foothills as well as down to South Pasadena and besides Altadena also includes La Verne, Pasadena, San Dimas, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, Rancho Cucamonga and Upland.
