Diary: Muir Basketball Coach Gamal Smalley At the Final Four

Muir boys basketball coach Gamal Smalley is in Houston for the weekend to attend the National Association of Basketball Coaches Convention and check out the Final Four. He'll be sending Patch updates about his trip throughout the weekend.

Hey Final Four enthusiasts, my family and I have landed in Houston for the NABC Convention and NCAA Final Four in Houston and we are having a great time. Please let it be known that I have officially picked Kentucky to win it all. 

Thursday my assistant coach, Andrew, and I attended some coaching clinics and my son Zachary (of Eliot Middle School in Altadena) hooked up with NBA Hall of Famer, Rick Barry, who gave him his new shooting sleeve. The sleeve has special shooting dots that help keep your elbows straight.
