Altadena Community Outreach Festival

The free community event is from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The festival will be held on Mariposa and Marcheta Street closures between Lake and El Molino Avenues. Seminars will be held at 2387 North Lake Avenue. 

There will be activities for the whole family; over 40 retail vendors, a college preparedness seminar, and job skill training. As well as live musical entertainment throughout the day; jazz, gospel, contemporary and classical.

 Explore the different mediums of art and sculpture in the Art Exhibit.  The outreach component will include Health Pavilion Screenings provided by Health Care Partners who will conduct free Diabetes, Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) and Derma Scan screenings. The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC is providing Dental screenings.  The City of Hope will conduct an on-site Blood Drive.  Two of the seminars will feature Facebook Safety and Senior Fraud Prevention.  Dr. Eric Walsh, Director of the Pasadena Health Department is scheduled to present a Healthy Living seminar.

 Please plan on joining us at 10:30 a.m. for the Opening Ceremony that will begin with the National Anthem and words from the U.S. Army and other dignitaries, in recognition of the 10th year anniversary of 9/11.  We will also recognize our political and community leaders, and thank everyone for their support!
