Parents as Leaders Workshop

"Building Collective Leadership" is the theme of this year's Pasadena Education Network (PEN) Parents as Leaders workshop.

Schools are encouraged to send a team that includes an administrator or lead/resource teacher and parents representing PTA, ELAC, AAPC, Site Council and any other community of interest.

Cross-cultural leadership facilitator Diane Burbie will introduce skills and approaches for administrators, teachers, and parents from different backgrounds to work together effectively, and each team will apply those skills to creating an action plan for collective implementation of key school goals.
