Public Meeting on the Station Fire Response

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Pasadena, will host a meeting with federal agency representatives to discuss the response to the Station Fire, which burned nearly 250 square miles of the Angeles National Forest in 2009.

Present at the meeting will be

Tom Harbour, Director of Fire and Aviation, U.S. Forest Service

Stephen Gaty, Assistant Director, Government Accountability Office, Natural Resources and Environment Team

The purpose of the meeting is to keep the public informed on what progress is being made to improve the response to future disasters.
