Altadena Library has four workshops scheduled this year to train tutors to help adults learn to read.
The program does not require any previous experience. The workshop topics will include learning style, lesson planning and other guidelines and tips.
Upon completion of one session volunteers will be able to teach. Pre-registration is required.
