Guided Millard Canyon Hike on Saturday
The Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy is offering a hiking tour of a 13-acre lot at Millard Canyon this Saturday.

The Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy will be hosting a docent-led hike on Saturday in the Millard Canyon parcel the non-profit is raising funds to purchase.
The 13 acre-lot runs along a stream and is a valuable wildlife resource. The group has been fundraising to get the money to do it for the last six months.

WHAT: Hike Millard Canyon
WHEN: Saturday, July 21, at 8:30 a.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Millard Canyon parking lot in Altadena.
DIRECTIONS: Take the 210 to the Lincoln Avenue exit. Go north on Lincoln Avenue. Turn right at Loma Alta Drive. Turn left at Chaney Trail (there's a flashing yellow light). Follow Chaney Trail past Nuccio's Nursery. Chaney Trail dead ends in the parking lot.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: We strongly recommend hiking boots, long pants and long sleeves, a hat, and water. You may also find a walking stick useful in crossing Millard Creek.
WARNINGS: You may encounter poison oak and rattlesnakes.
