Holiday Food Giveaway Planned This Week In Altadena

ALTADENA, CA — Supervisor Kathryn Barger has teamed up with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works to give out food this Wednesday ahead of Thanksgiving.

The drive-thru food giveaway will be held at the Public Works Service Yard in Altadena from 9 a.m. to noon. Line formation for the food pick-up begins at 8:30 a.m., and there is no eligibility requirement to participate, officials said.

The Public Works Service Yard is at 252 Mountain View Street. Anyone participating in the food drive-through is directed to enter the facility through Figueroa Drive only, according to officials. Face-coverings are strongly encouraged.
